Brego's Journey Part Two: Healing Brego - This installment of Brego’s Journey follows Brego through his healing process. As Brego’s returns to a normal weight, we follow his evaluation and recommendation for arthroscopic surgery and into the operating room where three chips are removed from his knee. Part Three: Retraining Brego

The final installment of Brego’s Journey takes us through the retraining of Brego, from the introduction of each piece of equipment, done diligence and with care, due to the sometimes traumatic memories of off the track thoroughbreds. Witness Brego learning about the lunge line to the introduction of his first rider since his arrival at Baywood Equestrian Center.

Brego Finds His Wings

After two years of a long rehabilitation, Brego is turned out for six months at Pegasus Ranch in Petaluma California to just be a horse. For perhaps the first time in his life, Brego is allowed to run with others Thoroughbreds at his choice and find his wings.
